At Reformed Equestrian, we believe that true horsemanship begins with understanding—not control. This workshop is designed to deepen your awareness of how the horse moves and how your own body influences that movement. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or new to the saddle, we invite you to step into a more thoughtful, connected approach.
We’ll begin with a lesson on bits—not just which bit, but how to use it as a tool for dialogue rather than domination. Through off-horse exercises, you’ll build awareness and feel in your hands and body, refining the subtleties of communication that support harmony instead of resistance.
If you’re bringing a horse, you’ll have a mounted session to integrate what you’ve learned and feel the difference firsthand. For those attending without a horse, you’ll still engage deeply through observation, discussion, and guided experiential learning.
The day continues with small group breakout sessions and live demonstrations, all rooted in the Reformed Equestrian mindset:
✨ Connection over compliance.
✨ Feel over force.
✨ Curiosity over criticism.
We’re here to reimagine what’s possible between horse and human—and to help you ride in a way that reflects your values, your awareness, and your respect for the horse as a partner.
Come explore, ask questions, and experience the Reformed Equestrian difference.
